Missions and Outreach
The mission field needs Christians, and Christians also need the mission field. Every believer has the responsibility and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to be a witness for Christ in word and deed. Regardless of age, every Christian has a role to play in local, national, and international missions and outreach.
Our Philosophy
TBC’s Missions and Outreach philosophy is holistic in its approach to sharing the gospel. The gospel is the “good news” that God has made a way to forgive sinners of all of their sins through the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. A holistic approach to sharing the gospel expresses care for the whole of a person: mind, body, soul, and spirit. The social aspect of the gospel causes us to learn about, address, and help to change the conditions contributing to despair for individuals and communities.
Food Pantry
Tomahawk Baptist Church is offering Family Meal Bags filled with pantry staples to make 4+ simple meals to anyone in need. The Food Pantry is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 4:30-6:30 p.m., or until all bags have been distributed. The Pantry is located in the lower parking lot next to Market Square Lane. Enter through the upper lot from Hull Street Road, go through the parking lot (past the playground) and go left down the hill to reach to lower parking lot.

Monetary donations can be made here, please type “Food Pantry” in the notes/memo line prior to donating. Otherwise, please bring any items listed below to one of our worship services and place them in the marked bins in the foyer of our Worship Center, or drop off at the church office Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Swift Creek Elementary Partnership
We are partnering with Swift Creek Elementary to bless the staff and students. You can volunteer in the school, “adopt” a staff member, and help raise money for special needs students. Reaching out to our community in love and blessing them brings back blessings 10 fold. Get on board! Contact the church office for information on how you can join this partnership..
