Ministries at TBC

TBC Kids Ministry

At TBC, we believe kids should have fun and learn at church. Our teachers are excited to create a loving environment that will engage your little one.  TBC utilizes Orange curriculum by the ReThink Groups to teach the Bible in creative ways that connect with children at an age-appropriate level.  Our classes are currently designed around elementary students: Kindergarten – 5th Grade.

Your child’s safety is a priority at TBC.  All our teachers and helpers have completed a background check.  When you arrive, a volunteer will help you with our secure check-in process.  You will not have any trouble finding the check-in station as you walk through any entrance.

Curriculum

Orange children’s ministry curriculum has been developed by a group of passionate educators, producers, musicians, pastors, artists, designers, writers, editors, parents, doers, thinkers, and dreamers. They partner with local churches to help create an engaging experience for your kids each and every week.  Their resources are dynamic, biblical, and fun!  Learn more at www.whatisorange.org

TBC Student Ministry

TBC Students is a place for 6th-12th grade students to come to know and follow Christ as we join Him in mission to the world.

TBC Students is based on Ephesians 5:8, “For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” TBC Students is a discipleship-focused ministry built on the foundation of the Gospel that equips, empowers, and encourages students to go make disciples for Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

The vision of TBC Students is to experience, explain, and expand God’s Diverse Kingdom by creating opportunities to seek Christ more intimately, stand apart from the culture we live in, grow into leadership, build healthy relationships, and serve our community.

Our Mission

The mission of TBC Students is to develop spiritually mature students; who are established in their faith, equipped for discipleship, and empowered to lead.

Each point of this mission breaks down as follows:

  • To develop spiritually mature students: In order to develop spiritually mature students, we must surround students with spiritually mature adults who will teach truth as revealed in scripture.
  • Who are established in their faith: Through our comprehensive Christian education program, small group teaching, and discipleship groups, students will obtain biblical literacy. Our prayer is that every student will be able to articulate what they believe it.
  • Equipped for discipleship: God’s word is clear that we are to make disciples (Matthew 28:19). In order for us to equip students for discipleship we must model discipleship through our discipleship leaders. Our Discipleship Group leaders will be a consistent presence in the life of students, building relationships with students, teaching and walking with students so that they may grow in Christ. Discipleship Group leaders will empower students to disciple their younger peers. The idea is that high school students will make disciples of middle school students, who will make disciples of children.
  • Empowered to lead: Through the example of biblical leadership by adults, students will grow in leadership and recognize that each and every one of us can be a leader that can influence those around us, including our culture, to make an eternal impact for God’s kingdom.

TBC Young Adults Ministry

TBC Young Adults is a TBC Ministry for young people between the ages of 21 – 39 years old. We exist to develop, nurture, connect and disciple young adults to live boldly and biblically in our culture while being an example to other young adults in how we live, work and play.

What should you expect?
Our focus is on our growth in Christ in every aspect of our life. This will be done through Small Groups, Fellowship, Serving together, and other fun activities to help build relationships and open the door for engaging discipleship.

Do you want to get connected to a College Age Ministry? Here are few ways that you can do that. Contact us and one of our staff will reach out to you ASAP.

BELONG
Find Community

We all need a place to belong, people to share life with, and others who are pouring into us. There are many College Age Ministry opportunities happening throughout the year on various college campuses. Let us help you get connected on your campus or within your county or city.

SERVE
Be Unleashed

The College-Age Ministry at TBC is a community of young people ages 18-25. We envision a profound movement of college-age believers that demonstrates the love of Jesus in our city and beyond. Whether you’re in school or the workforce or somewhere in between, we want to invite young people to join the movement God is igniting in our county and our city!

We love connecting young people to authentic, disciple-making communities. We hope to encourage everyone to uncover who they are meant to be and the mission God has for their lives. We provide opportunities for college-age people to serve at our church and will help them identify opportunities to serve on their campus, in their county, and in their city. It is our greatest desire that every person discover life in Jesus and what it means to live as Jesus did.

Let’s Do Life Together!
